  • Wow! And just like that. Our season of racing in the BRSCC AUDI TTCR SERIES has come to an end. Snetterton was the setting for our final race weekend in the Audi’s and it gave us plenty to think about across the 4 days we spent in Norfolk. Practice on the Thursday was solid rain from morning until dusk. Saturday for Quali & Race 1 was damp but slippery. And Sunday for Race 2 & Race 3 was a sunny fine day. It certainly kept us on our toes with regards to

  • Last month Sparrowhawk Racing were once again racing at the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit. The final Goodwood Sprint of the 2023 season saw a packed field of over 100 cars taking to the track, to compete for honours in their respective classes. With fine weather all day, it was our first chance to really get to grips with this circuit in dry conditions and at full speed in our Audi TT Cup car, sponsored by Bromley Vehicle Test Centre Ltd. By the end of the day we had set a new personal best

  • The champagne flowed at our local Kent circuit in September as the team took 3 podiums across the weekend, including TWO 1st place finishes on the Saturday, followed by a hard-fought 2nd place finish on the Sunday too. Sparrowhawk Racing sponsored by Bromley Vehicle Test Centre Limited found themselves on the top spot of the podium after both races on Saturday, in the Southern Tin Tops Series. The races were close-fought, between a field of matching cars, all of whom had an equal chance at victory. But it was a clean

  • It has been an incredibly busy summer of race action for the team at Sparrowhawk Racing. Since our previous round at Snetterton, we have competed in the Audi TTCR Series at both Donington Park & Cadwell Park.  The team also entered a bonus extra race weekend in Thunder Saloons class at the epic SUPER TOURING POWER event at Brands Hatch (separate race-update coming soon).  What's more, the team have also been to Goodwood Motor Circuit not once, but twice, managing to bring home a trophy.  And on top of that, there have

  • It was a very wet & stormy weekend at Goodwood Motor Circuit for the annual Eagle Sprint in August. The competition was fierce, with a field of 100 cars & drivers braving the treacherous conditions. Sparrowhawk Racing were taking part in their first competitive event on the famous historic circuit, competing for honours in Class 3, against 20 other cars - driving their Audi TT Cup Car sponsored by Bromley Vehicle Test Centre Ltd. During the test session the rain was torrential, and the circuit was covered in standing water - leading to

  • Earlier this season Sparrowhawk Racing made their first ever appearance on track at Goodwood Motor Circuit, when they were invited by the Classic Touring Car Club to attend an event called Retro Rides. The event included taking part in a static display of race cars in the paddock and a number of track sessions over the course of the weekend. The team took part in their red Ford Fiesta, sponsored by Bromley Vehicle Test Centre Limited. That visit left the team thirsty for more track-time at the fabled historic circuit. So,

  • Racing is a rollercoaster of highs and lows.  One moment you're on top of the world, hitting the perfect apex, pulling together that dream lap, sometimes ending up on the podium, or even winning your championship overall come the end of the season - like we did last year!  But there are also those days and weekends where things just don't go your way.  It's all part of the racing journey. Sparrowhawk Racing had a tough weekend in Norfolk as the TTCR series arrived at Snetterton Circuit for a triple-header weekend

  • A May update from the team at SPARROWHAWK RACING.  We're excited to say the race season is now very much underway! To begin the season the team were at Silverstone in March for the season-opener, racing in the Modified Ford Series and scoring two solid Top-5 results to start our season off well.  We were racing our red Ford Fiesta which was proudly wearing Vehicle Test Centre sponsorship. In April the season of TTCR (Audi TT Cup Racing) got underway.  Round 1 was at Brand Hatch, and with a healthy field of 20
