Earlier this season Sparrowhawk Racing made their first ever appearance on track at Goodwood Motor Circuit, when they were invited by the Classic Touring Car Club to attend an event called Retro Rides. The event included taking part in a static display of race cars in the paddock and a number of track sessions over the course of the weekend. The team took part in their red Ford Fiesta, sponsored by Bromley Vehicle Test Centre Limited. That visit left the team thirsty for more track-time at the fabled historic circuit.
So, the team are excited to announce they have now been accepted onto an exclusive Goodwood Sprint, organised by the Brighton & Hove Motor Club at Goodwood Motor Circuit on Saturday 5th August. Only 2 of these events are run at Goodwood each season, so Sparrowhawk Racing are thrilled to be taking part. The team will compete in their Audi TTCR car, sponsored by Bromley Vehicle Test Centre Limited.
The Goodwood Sprint is sure to be an excellent way for the team to gain more experience on this iconic and globally renowned race-track. Each of these moments is another step towards racing at Goodwood one day in the famous Goodwood Revival or the Goodwood Members Meeting; which has long been the ultimate goal of both Adrian and Richard.
